I am fascinated by artists. I have tremendous respect for those who are committed to their craft, whatever that is. Being an artisan is a journey of self-discovery, building resilience, overcoming adversity and occasional triumph.

I have explored a variety of arts, and the pursuits have taught me unexpected lessons that I might not have learned otherwise. What I especially appreciate is how those lessons have improved my performance and experiences in other areas of life. Part of the reason for making this website is to reflect on those lessons.

Regardless of what you do professionally (I do this), exploring the arts - especially those way outside of your comfort zone - can have a powerful impact on your personal development. It is humbling, energizing, skill-building, and ultimately life-affirming.
