Japan in Black & White
The images below were captured by the Q2 Monochrom, one of Leica’s ultra-minimalist black & white-only digital cameras that marks the company’s commitment to the art of monochrome photography. When shooting with either black & white film, or by using a camera like this, you see the world differently. What makes for a beautiful colour photograph can be dramatically different from what it takes to capture a striking black and white image.
The kind of perspective shifting that one learns when exploring these two formats has a parallel to how we can might think better in our daily lives.
How can we see our circumstances in a more empowering way if we shifted our perspectives on our challenges, our insecurities, our relationships?
